In this video I will show you how to create a virus in Blender Geometry Nodes. The surface and the spike tentacles of the virus can be animated in a loop. This video is part of the series "Blender for Scientists" or "Medical Animations in Blender". I use Set Curve Profile Node, Curve to Mesh and Mesh Line Nodes to create the Virus Spikes or Tentacles.
